About the job This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role within a high-volume heavy vehicle modification centre. We are partnering with a premier dealership group representing several leading brands to find a driven Supervisor capable of taking their operations to the next level. You will be leading a diverse team across multiple trade groups, including painting, auto-electrical, fabrication, and fitting. This role is not just about keeping the workshop moving; it is about strategic leadership. We are looking for someone with the business acumen to understand efficiency data, manage job profitability, and drive time management. You will play a key role in building a high-performance culture with a clear succession pathway available towards a senior management position. Role responsibilities: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of technicians, tradespeople, and apprentices. Manage daily workflow and allocate scheduled jobs to ensure strict delivery timeframes are met. Monitor operational data to enhance workshop efficiency and billable hours. Oversee quality control, conducting final checks and diagnostics to ensure compliance. Champion a safety-first culture and drive team morale through positive leadership. Required skills and experience: Demonstrated experience in a workshop leadership or supervisory role. Strong understanding of workshop financials, efficiency data, and resource allocation. Background in heavy vehicles, automotive, or a related trade industry is highly regarded. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage diverse trade groups. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Previous exposure to Trucks in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as Kenworth, Volvo, Western Star, MAN, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Fuso, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, Scania, Freightliner or similar are strongly encouraged to apply. An attractive base salary of up to $140,000 is on offer for the right candidate, alongside the chance to join a stable and supportive organisation.
