Within the context of the role accountabilities described in About the Role, the most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experiences against these essential role requirements of the Team Leader leadership stream: - Exposure to the criminal justice system and experience in program design, develop and implementation in a complex human service environment.- Ability to apply and interpret best practice literature, legislation, policy and procedures.- Demonstrated experience in program management Lifecyle and contracted service provision.- Experience in monitoring, evaluating and reviewing service provision to deliver outcomes against agreed targets/key performance indicators.- Demonstrated ability to undertake major research activities, interpret data and prepare detailed and comprehensive reports.- Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including high level interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate successful outcomes in human service context.- Sound understanding and application of rehabilitation, reintegration and housing models and techniques.- Skills and experience in the preparation of reports and complex written documentation within a structured framework that is guided by legislation and procedures on highly confidential matters.- Organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.- Research and analytical skills for investigating issues and analysing trends associated with the management of prisoners transitioning to the community.- Demonstrated negotiation, relationship management and conflict resolution skills for liaising with senior management, staff and internal and external stakeholders, to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources and other relevant issues.
