Key Responsibilities Clinical leadership and governance of a case-management team Assessment and management of adults with high- and low-prevalence mental health conditions Participation in the on-call roster Opportunity to participate in the ECT roster (training provided if required) Teaching and supervision of Registrars, junior doctors and medical students You will join a well-established and supportive Consultant group, with access to: Regular peer review and Grand Rounds A strong education and supervision culture A $10.9 million redevelopment of the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit, delivering modern facilities and an expanding medical workforce To be successful, you will have: FRANZCP or equivalent (substantially comparable international specialists encouraged to apply) Demonstrated expertise in adult psychiatric assessment and management A collaborative, patient-centred approach and strong MDT engagement Interest in education, supervision and service development Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and clinical governance Permanent, secure specialist appointment Salary package up to $440,000 Attractive salary packaging (meals & entertainment, novated leasing, additional super) Funded professional development and ongoing supervision Access to leadership development programs * Genuine work–life balance in a highly desirable coastal region
