As a Consultant Psychiatrist within Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), you will provide expert clinical care across a broad service profile, supporting recovery-focused outcomes through collaborative, consumer-centred practice. Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and management for children and adolescents Work across community CYMHS teams and the Adolescent Inpatient Unit Deliver care across Toowoomba and surrounding rural facilities Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and quality initiatives Support education, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees Promote evidence-based, culturally responsive and family-inclusive care This role is ideally suited to a psychiatrist motivated by clinical excellence, leadership, and shaping future mental health services, while supporting the next generation of clinicians.
