Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to join our inhouse SAP team, focusing on SAP ECC6 enhancements and custom developments. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs to support business-critical processes across supply chain, finance, and retail operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (WRICEF objects) in SAP ECC6. Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and internal development standards. Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and assist with deployment activities. Maintain documentation including technical specs, test plans, and user guides. Required Skills: Strong experience in ABAP development within an SAP ECC6 environment. Experience with ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework. Experience with Core Data Services (CDS) views (as we have quite a few of these due to our large volume of data) Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO) components, including global classes, methods, interfaces, and event handling for modular, reusable, and scalable solutions Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI. Ability to work with SAP authorization concepts and maintain custom transactions. Good understanding of performance optimization and debugging techniques. Desirable: Experience with SAP IS-Retail Experience using Agile / DevOps tools (as we use this for tracking our changes/developments). Exposure to SAPUI5/Fiori or Security Administration is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Extensive experience of hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP ECC6. Why Join Us?
