To work out on one of the Jumbuck stations, experience with sheep or livestock is not essential as we are happy to invest the time to develop the right person in these areas. Where you would be based: Mulgathing Station 34,000 Merino sheep Area of 518,300 ha Full-time permanent staff of 9 About 110km west of the Stuart Highway - turnoff mid-way between Glendambo and Coober Pedy. Well resourced, maintained and managed across both infrastructure, equipment and livestock. Easily accessed by vehicle or alternatively by a daily Greyhound Bus Service along the nearby Stuart Highway. Some of what you will be involved in: Mustering of sheep on 2-wheel motorbikes Water runs – checking various dams, bores and water points Yard work and fencing Various mechanical work including engine and small motor maintenance and servicing What we are offering: A competitive day rate (in line with experience).
