Our client is expanding their technical operations capability and, with a strong pipeline of projects ahead, they are seeking a Customer Manager - Operations to support and strengthen partnerships with major customers. Our client is an Australian-based environmental technology company operating within the mining services sector, delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and environmental performance. Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, the Customer Manager - Operations will play a central role in developing strong customer relationships, providing operational and commercial insight, and supporting both existing and emerging business opportunities. In this role, you will: Contribute to the selection, onboarding and coordination of team members needed to meet project and contract requirements across Australian operations. Provide leadership and support to teams working across multiple customer sites. Serve as a key liaison for customer engagement, ensuring their operational needs and expectations are clearly understood and effectively addressed. Oversee site-based resources, information handling, and adherence to confidentiality and data security processes. Identify areas for operational improvement and collaborate on practical solutions. Prepare routine performance updates and operational reports across assigned sites. Build a strong understanding of company products, services, and the competitive landscape. Maintain and develop customer relationships to support ongoing service delivery, contract longevity, and potential service expansion, with a strong focus on safety. Monitor operational expenditure and contribute to cost control efforts aligned with approved budgets. About you: Demonstrated experience in key account, customer relationship, and operations management within mining services, heavy machinery, or mechatronic engineering environments. Operational management experience, including ensuring service delivery and performance outcomes align with customer, commercial and budget expectations. Experience in complex technical mechanical and electronic heavy machinery operations. Proven ability to build, guide and support teams across new or established customer sites. Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service. Experience within Mining Technology Services or similar is desirable.
