About the role The Learning & Development Specialist- Production will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training programs for production operations. This role ensures that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively, while driving compliance, efficiency, and clarity across processes and procedures. Main Responsibilities: Develop and manage comprehensive training programs for production staff. Utilise training software and digital tools to deliver and track training effectiveness. Review existing processes and procedures; rewrite and optimise documentation to reduce deviations and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training aligns with regulatory and quality standards. Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Monitor training compliance and maintain accurate records for audits and inspections. Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training interventions. T he development and maintenance of Skills matrices to Opella OPS standards About you Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (E.g Life Sciences, Engineering, or similar) Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – desirable Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification is desirable Experience: ideally 5 years’ experience in a production environment - preferably in Pharmaceuticals or Manufacturing Strong understanding of GMP , and regulatory compliance requirements Familiarity with training software and Learning Management Systems (LMS) Proven experience in Training program development & delivery Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a true “people person.” Strong leadership and team management capabilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to analyse processes and implement improvements Proficient in digital tools and training technologies Why us?
