Senior Cyber Security Adviser We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our IT Security and Risk team based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. This team safeguards the firm’s technology environment, ensures compliance and embeds security into every aspect of our operations by working closely with IT, legal, and business teams. Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain secure cloud environments that protect data and ensure compliance. Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across production and development environments. Provide security input for cloud vendor selection and support certification and assurance activities during audits. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to embed cloud security into projects and governance forums. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, governance and operations, including networking, storage, and security in hybrid environments. Hands‑on experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and identity governance principles. Skills in automation and Infrastructure as Code, with an understanding of logging, alerting and auditing strategies. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly. A desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
