The Opportunity This is a senior technical role focused on the design, development, and delivery of data centre white space solutions across Australia and New Zealand. Acting as a trusted technical authority, you will work closely with customers and internal sales teams to translate complex infrastructure requirements into robust, compliant, and scalable solutions. The role combines engineering depth with customer engagement, offering the opportunity to shape in-house solution standards while supporting major data centre projects across new builds and live environments. Key Responsibilities As the Technical Product Manager you will be responsible for: Leading the design and delivery of white space solutions, including containment systems, data centre caging, raised flooring, service gantries, and integrated infrastructure offerings Collaborating in three-way consultations with sales teams and customers to assess site conditions, define requirements, and develop fit-for-purpose technical solutions Developing Specification Standards, detailed technical designs, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned with customer objectives and industry best practices Designing hot- and cold-aisle containment layouts for new builds, upgrades, and remediation projects Engineering secure data centre caging solutions that meet physical security, operational, and compliance requirements Overseeing the production of high-quality CAD drawings and technical schematics to support installation and operations Conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure installations conform to approved designs and specifications Providing after-sales technical support, including drawing revisions, design updates, and optimisation based on customer or site feedback About You You are a technically strong, solutions-focused Product Manager or Solutions Architect who enjoys working at the intersection of design, delivery, and customer engagement. An electrical or mechanical engineering background, trade qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience in data centre or critical infrastructure environments Demonstrated experience in data centre design, white space infrastructure, or technical support services Strong experience delivering containment, caging, raised flooring, and integrated white space solutions A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical interactions within data centres, including airflow management, cooling strategies, and power considerations Familiarity with TIA-942, Uptime Institute, or similar data centre standards Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent) for technical drawings and layouts Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical detail with deadlines and customer expectations Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance Comfortable working collaboratively with sales, engineering, project, and customer teams Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and solution standardisation The Offer The successful applicant will receive an attractive salary package commensurate with a base salary of $120,000 - $160,000 plus Superannuation.
