The Opportunity This pivotal role focuses exclusively on managing and growing one major hyperscale customer across Australia and New Zealand. Acting as the client's primary commercial and strategic partner, you will lead the long-term relationship, uncover new opportunities, and orchestrate internal teams to deliver exceptional value and service. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow one key hyperscale customer across ANZ, serving as the single point of contact for all commercial and strategic engagement. Develop deep, multi-layered relationships across engineering, operations, construction, procurement, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment, influence decisions, and identify new opportunities Build and execute a long-term account plan aligned to the customer's regional roadmap, expansion activity, and operational priorities Drive strategic opportunity development, identifying whitespace, new solution adoption, and cross-portfolio growth across the full white and grey data centre ecosystem. Deliver proactive insights by staying across industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitive movement, strengthening value proposition and account positioning. Oversee forecasting, reporting, and governance, providing clear sales forecasts, performance metrics, account reviews, and commercial analysis to senior leadership. Represent the business at key customer meetings, including quarterly business reviews, roadmap discussions, and strategic planning sessions. About you As the Strategic Account Manager, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience: Demonstrated strategic account management, enterprise sales or project management experience within data centres, cloud, or critical infrastructure. Strong understanding of hyperscale data centre environments, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer value. Proven success managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder accounts. Exceptional relationship-building skills, able to navigate executive, technical, and operational stakeholders to achieve aligned outcomes. Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership principles, and commercial coordination. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build trust with senior stakeholders. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and commercial acumen. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Self-starter able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required to support key customer engagements, planning sessions, and site activity.
