We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Alamanda Kindergarten . Alamanda Kindergarten is a modern, purpose-built kindergarten located alongside Alamanda College in Point Cook. Our team of nurturing and experienced educators deliver high quality and inclusive three and four-year-old kindergarten programs that help each child realise their potential. Our educators will partner with families – childrens most important educator – to develop a play-based learning program that builds on childrens interests and capabilities. In turn, children will develop vital social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive skills. Even more importantly, our educators will ensure children are safe, secure and happy while in our kindergarten. Alamanda Kindergarten has been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard. Information about the National Quality Standard. There are two part time, ongoing positions available for a January 2026 start. ECMS would consider combining roles for the right candidate. Position 1 - 24.75 hours per week on a Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am to 4:15pm and Friday 8:15am to 5:30pm. Position 2 - 12.5 hours per week on a Monday 8am to 4:15pm and Tuesday 9am to 1:15pm. This is part of a team teaching position. About you You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference. You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child. You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member. You have a drive to grow and improve continually. You value kindness and respect. You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations. You hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a VIT, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate. About the role You’ll develop a high-quality educational program for the 3/4-year-old program in consultation with children, families and educators to achieve agreed outcomes for children. You’ll work collaboratively with Educators to implement an educational program driven by children's interests, underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework, that aims to achieve their holistic development and facilitate a smooth transition to school. You’ll document the delivery of the educational program, children's interests and assessments of their learning and development needs. You’ll critically reflect and inspire staff to critically reflect on their pedagogical practice, share ideas and identify innovative ways of achieving positive outcomes for children.
