Day Shift 5.30am - 2pm Permanent Full Time Position Opportunity to earn Overtime What You’ll Be Doing Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures Setting grinding and cutting edges Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification and that process checks are performed as required Actively participate in improvement projects Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedure What You’ll Bring Previous experience in a manufacturing Valid forklift license (up to 8 tonne) Previous experience in a quality assurance environment Strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Please note: All successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
