Job Description The Business Partnering team works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to ensure that Griffith University has a capable, engaged and productive workforce that is fit to deliver its strategic and operational goals. Initially, this role will be supporting the Health Group and will report to a Senior HR Business Partner. The HR Business Partner will work across a diverse professional and academic portfolio. Your key responsibilities include: Partner with the Senior HR Business Partner to execute on key workforce operational activities Provide timely and practical advice on employee related issues (e.g performance management, case management, conflict resolution, coaching) Support workforce planning activities & contribute to change management initiatives Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture Maintain accurate and compliant HR Records Contribute to HR projects and initiatives & collaborate with internal stakeholders Influencing leaders across the University to foster a culture of belonging, integrity and commitment What you will bring to this role Knowledge of contemporary human resource practices and related legislation and industrial instruments Demonstrated ability to provide advice and manage the full range of HR issues High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Exceptional computer literacy with an ability to use complex HRIS and related reporting/analytics tools A degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, and relevant knowledge and experience in human resource management and industrial relations in a diverse and complex organisation. What we can offer This is a full-time, fixed-term (until 14 August 2026) opportunity based at our Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. HEW 8 salary range $113,713 - $127,923 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $133,044 - $149,669 per annum.
