Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Injection Moulding Machine Operator to join their growing team. An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of Injection Moulding based in Sunshine. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift for 1 week Monday - Friday 6am - 2.10pm pay rate is $37.79ph, then move onto afternoon Shift Monday - Friday 2pm - 10.10pm for a highly motivated Machine Operator staff , to become an integral part of the team. You must be available to work, Monday to Friday also Saturday and Sunday as required. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Your Tasks Will Include: Trouble Shooting / Problem Solving Techniques. Start up and shutdown of machines. Quality control of product. The ability to read and understand drawings. Daily running of machines (Plastics and Rubber Injection mould machines) Quality Assurance Computer programming (setting up measurements) Other warehouse duties when required. Able to meet quick turnaround times. Key Responsibilities: Prior experience in Production/Injection Moulding a similar role preferred but not mandatory willingness to learn and work as a team essential. Physically Fit and healthy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Initiative, punctuality, and reliability. Excellent communication skills. A keen eye for detail. Ability to work closely with others.
