Role Overview Reo Group are recruiting for an experienced and technically strong Senior Account Manager for a well-established and growing Corporate Specialty Insurance Brokerage in Sydney. This role will see you take ownership of a significant corporate portfolio, acting as the primary client contact while partnering closely with Directors on strategy, placement and complex risk solutions. You will lead the end-to-end management of a diverse portfolio of predominantly interstate corporate accounts, providing senior technical guidance, broking expertise and relationship leadership across the business. The role centres on delivering high-level advisory services, overseeing placements and supporting the development of junior brokers within the team. Responsibilities Deliver strategic risk transfer advice across Contract Works, Construction Liability and General Property (ISR) for clients operating within construction, engineering, civil infrastructure and associated heavy industries. Manage and grow senior client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and ensuring consistently high standards of service and delivery. Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and key domestic and international markets, negotiating optimal outcomes for complex and large-scale risks. Represent the business at client meetings, industry conferences and sector events, positioning yourself as a senior ambassador of the firm. Provide guidance, mentoring and technical oversight to junior brokers and Account Executives, contributing to a culture of capability development and continuous improvement. Maintain advanced technical, market and industry knowledge to support sophisticated risk solutions and exceptional client outcomes. Candidate Profile You will be a Senior Account Manager, Senior Account Executive or experienced Corporate Broker with a strong background in either construction, energy, property or mining and a proven track record managing complex corporate portfolios. Extensive experience in Contract Works is essential, with strong exposure to heavy industries such as engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, natural resources, manufacturing, or plant and equipment. You will demonstrate career progression and stability, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational and time management skills. A confident, polished and consultative relationship management style is essential, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. Tier 1 and a Diploma of Financial Services are required as a minimum, along with at least five years' broking or underwriting experience.
