This role is integral to driving a sustainability-aware culture, supporting project teams to meet contractual, legislative, client, ESG and ISC requirements, and ensuring sustainability systems are effectively implemented from tender through to project completion. Your Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Sustainability (highly sought), or Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, Organisational Development or a related discipline Minimum 5 years' experience in sustainability or ESG roles (within infrastructure or construction highly sought) Strong competency in ISC 2.1, with demonstrated delivery of projects requiring ISC ratings (highly regarded) ISC training and/or certification (ISAP highly regarded) Demonstrated experience managing sustainability strategies Strong understanding of Commonwealth and State legislation, regulations and Australian Standards related to sustainability management, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 31000:2018 High attention to detail with strong capability in data gathering, data analytics and report writing Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships with clients. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, independently prioritising tasks based on urgency and impact, to consistently deliver outcomes on time. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including preparation of reports, case studies, training materials and professional correspondence A curious, practical mindset with a strong passion for sustainability Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to lead teams, providing clear direction to meet sustainability requirements Strong alignment with Georgiou's values of Care, Integrity and Excellence What You'll Be Doing Design, review and manage project Sustainability Management Systems (SMS) Manage onsite sustainability systems to meet Georgiou, legislative and client requirements Identify and manage sustainability risks and opportunities to achieve IS Ratings for our clients Liaise with key stakeholders including ISC, clients, regulators and working groups Champion innovation, continuous improvement and best practice sustainability outcomes on projects Coordinate and manage contractual sustainability reporting at the project level Coach, train and review the sustainability performance and competency of employees Prepare and coordinate external sustainability reports, including Annual Sustainability Reports and Final Achievement Reports Develop, manage and track sustainability budgets and costs across the project lifecycle Lead sustainability communication internally and champion Georgiou's sustainability capability Develop and deliver sustainability training and workshops to project teams and the wider business * Mentor subcontractors and suppliers in sustainable procurement practices Ready to Apply?
