The reason for the vacancy The position forms part of the core element of the company’s civil consulting team. We are looking for a Senior or Lead Civil Designer (not budding Civil Engineer) who can design earthworks, pavements, stormwater, carparks, kerb and channel etc. using Civil3D. You’ll report to the Civil Manager and possibly a Project Manager for some items. Day to day requirements You'll have done this job before, likely in Melbourne. You'll know what to do. Why this company? Large-ish, but smaller and more boutique in Melbourne. This means established processes and standards, without red-tape and layer upon layer of management. Skills needed - there are a few: Melbourne based design experience, Civil3D experience critical 5-10-15 years’ experience, give or take (from civil) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the goal posts change (a lot). Ability to manage your own time and manage both up and down. Fortnightly pay. Take home $130k - $155k p/a plus Super - more or less both possible, depending on your experience.
