The Opportunity We’re seeking an Aged Care Physiotherapist to deliver Home Care Package services to older Australians living in Harvey and the surrounding areas. You’ll work one-on-one in clients’ homes, focusing on mobility, falls prevention, strength, and confidence with day-to-day tasks. This role is ideal for a Physio who values quality time with clients , enjoys building relationships, and wants to see real, functional outcomes in the community. What You’ll Be Doing Conducting comprehensive assessments in clients’ homes Developing individualised treatment plans focused on function, safety and independence Providing evidence-based therapy – strength, balance, mobility and pain management Implementing falls prevention strategies and home safety recommendations Prescribing and reviewing mobility aids and equipment Liaising with families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team Completing clear, timely documentation and progress reports What’s On Offer Community-based role supporting older Australians in their own homes A varied day – no two home visits or clients are the same The chance to build long-term therapeutic relationships with clients and families Autonomy to plan your day, with support just a phone call away Liase with a well-experienced aged care physiotherapist Mileage/travel reimbursement and all tools/resources provided (e.g. laptop, phone) Ongoing professional development and clinical support Autonomy & flexibility – plan your own day around home visits across Harvey and the surrounding areas (Salary and hours can be tailored based on your experience and preferences – full-time or part-time options often available.) You’ll Be a Great Fit If You: Hold a degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration Have a passion for working with older adults and/or experience in aged care, rehab or community Are confident working autonomously in the community and managing your own schedule Have excellent communication skills and a warm, person-centred approach Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable car All experiences welcome Ready to Make a Difference in Harvey?
