Contract until December 2026 with a possible extension Attractive pay rate of $ 90 - $ 120/hr plus super Hybrid work arrangement (WFH Canberra office) PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Working with the Chief Data Engineer, you will be delivering data assets in the Revenue Management Division’s Data Warehouse. The work will revolve around projects within the Future Operating Model and will support the delivery of digital solutions across multiple business products. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Deliver scalable ETL pipelines to support analytics, reporting and API consumption. Optimise SQL queries. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability issues. Support the implement data governance, security and compliance best practices. Document data flows, data dictionaries and technical specifications. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of experience in data engineering with a heavy emphasis on MS SQL Server. Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts. Recent experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like SSIS or similar. Familiarity with API development and integration, especially in the context of serving data to APIs. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (eg. Git, CI/CD pipelines). Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field are mandatory. Microsoft certifications are highly valued.
