This is a ICQA Data Analyst, ICQA role with Amazon based in Kemps Creek, NSW, AU Amazon Role Seniority - mid level More about the ICQA Data Analyst, ICQA role at Amazon The Data Analyst assigned to ICQA (Inventory Control/Quality Assurance) will work closely with the ICQA and operations teams in Inbound and Outbound to provide data and analytical support for root cause investigation of defects and will provide support to ensure compliance to ICQA-related SoX requirements. Key job responsibilities • Development of data collection processes and data management systems • Maintenance of data integrity (0% error rate) • Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in MS Access and Excel • Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes • In depth research of defect trends • Data collection and entry as needed • Data mining and problem solving • Back up for Process Assistant duties A day in the life After you have completed a number of housekeeping reports you have developed and improved over time, your manager flags a quality metric that has been poor the last few weeks. You are asked to deep dive into the data for this metric, identify barriers and suggest possible solutions. Your suggestion is implemented and you build a specific report to measure its progress over the next few weeks. About the team The ICQA team lives by the "Insist on the highest standards" leadership principle. Your role will be to make this principle a reality by supporting standards and quality through data and analysis. We also love getting 'creative' with data, so an imaginative analyst is preferred! - 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays - Can lift up to 20 KGs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required - 2 years experience on Microsoft Excel. This means you are adept at Pivot Tables, basic formulas such as VLOOKUP/IF and are confident analyzing large datasets. - Experience in deep diving FC Processes through tools such as FC Research, Atlas and Peculiar Inventory in roles such as Problem Solve, Ticketing or Damage Processing. - 1 year experience on SQL. This means you know the basics such as syntax, queries, modifiers and calculations.
