As the District Disaster Manager, you’ll be the emergency management lead for MLHD: driving preparedness, strengthening response capability, and ensuring our services remain safe and resilient during any emergency. In This Role, You Will Lead MLHD’s Emergency Management framework across prevention, preparedness, response and recovery Provide strategic guidance on policies, plans and major incident readiness Support the HSFAC and Chief Executive during emergencies and complex incidents Collaborate with the State HSFAC (SPRU) on shared priorities, statewide initiatives and training programs Oversee education, simulation exercises and capability-building across the district Maintain strong partnerships with emergency services, health providers and government agencies Coordinate operational response and recovery during activations of emergency plans To find out more, please review the Position Description.
