Position Overview: Enhanced Lifestyles is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team. This role reports directly to our Executive Manager, Operations and is responsible for leading all clinical services at Enhanced Lifestyles, including assessing, managing and providing oversight to new and existing customer care plans, developing and delivering training programs for our dedicated support staff and ensuring that our care meets the highest clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Reviewing, developing and maintaining care plans for new and existing customers, including complex support requirements and ensuring the plans reflect the NDIS high intensity support skills descriptors, NDIS quality standards and clinical governance requirements Attend customer home visits as required Provide clinical guidance and manage changes to customers clinical needs, for example, implementing updated care plans or coordinating a customer discharge from the hospital Experience in delivering clinical training, assessments, and credentialing support staff ensuring best practices are followed Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical customer records and documentation Stay current with advancements in NDIS Practice Standards and contribute to the development of best practices within the organisation Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements About You To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant qualifications (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Postgraduate qualification) Unrestricted Current Registration with AHPRA Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable) Demonstrated experience working in the Community and NDIS sector, essential (a minimum of 2 years’ experience) Previous experience in a consulting or advisory role, essential (a minimum of 2 years’ experience) Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Taking the lead in managing clinical incidents, audit preparation and participation Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and training Knowledge of relevant healthcare and NDIS regulations and guidelines Flexibility to travel intrastate (Riverland and Limestone Coast regions) Additional Requirements NDIS Workers Check Working with Children Check Appropriate documentation of Working Rights Current Australian driver’s licence NDIS Orientation Module Benefits Salary sacrifice - earn up to $15,899 tax free per year!
