• Broken Hill Hub (including Wentworth and Wilcannia) • Temporary - Full-Time (35 HPW) • Clerk Grade 5/6, base salary ($99,938 - $110,271), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role You will manage the court registry and outreach registry’s remotely within a cluster of courts in the region, ensuring quality service to the registry customers on days when court is sitting. You will provide assistance to the Deputy Registrar and Senior Manager at Broken Hill to meet the business objectives and reporting obligations of Court Services. You will perform quasi-judicial functions in accordance with legislation across the courts within the Hub. This role requires the applicant to have the flexibility to travel each week of the month with overnight stays. What you’ll do As part of the team, you will have the experience in supervising staff and allocating resources to ensure the registry standards are met and quality services are delivered to clients at the different locations. Promotes Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Diversity and Workplace Health and Safety and provides an environment in which individual employees and their skills are valued and respected What we’re looking for • Adaptability to work in different jurisdictions and different locations within the region • Experience in managing, developing and motivating staff in a busy, changing and complex work environment across different locations utilising strong organisational skills. • Delivering high quality service to the community across a number of locations. • Provide advice and report to senior management on the registry’s operations and contribute to the development of procedural changes that enhance client service and/or improve efficiency • Contributing to projects that aim to improve client service and/or improve efficiency whilst managing the day to day operations of multiple registries. • The successful candidate must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence and be willing to travel to other locations within the region as the role only operates out of the Broken Hill Local Court for approximately 7-8 days per month.
