As a Registered Nurse at Village Roadshow Theme Parks, you’ll be part of the action, supporting the health and happiness of our guests and team members in a workplace like no other. Key Responsibilities From quick care to calm support, you’ll be: • Providing primary care for guests and team members whilst maintaining accurate and confidential records. • Liaising with internal stakeholders, external medical providers and allied health practitioners as required. • Supporting injury management by assisting the Rehabilitation Coordinator with suitable duties programs for work related and non-work-related injuries. • Maintaining and restocking first aid kits and medical equipment. • Conducting Drug and Alcohol testing as per company policy. • Assisting with team wellness initiatives, health promotion and vaccination programs as required. • Providing EAP referrals and support as required. What We’re Looking For Smart, steady and ready to roll? You’ll bring: • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. • Blue Card is essential (Please be advised that the cost of a Blue Card is currently $104.70, however, VRTP will reimburse any employees who successfully complete three months of service). • Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience – Occupational Health Nurse / Emergency nurse highly desirable • Experience working in a fast-paced hospital/clinic or similar environment highly desirable. • Certification in Provide First Aid HLTAID011 • Certification in Provide CPR HLTA1D009 and Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy HLTAID015 • Driver’s License. • Strong clinical, communication and decision-making skills. • Strong computer literacy, with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Good physical fitness with the ability to walk briskly, stand for long periods, climb stairs, lift, squat, kneel, push, pull &/or carry loads up to 13 kg. • Confidence to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent time management and customer service skills. • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across seven days including evenings and weekends. Must have availability to work Saturdays and school holidays. • Immunization for Hepatitis B recommended. • Occupational First Aid HLTSS00068 advantageous. • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Co-Ordinator Certification & experience advantageous.
