About the role As a Dental Assistant, you'll provide essential chairside support to Dental Officers, Oral Health Therapists, and Dental Prosthetists, helping deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, we value enthusiasm, teamwork, and a commitment to quality care. Provide high-quality chairside assistance and support across a range of dental procedures, with training provided where required. Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, materials, and surgeries in line with quality assurance and infection control standards. Assist with dental radiography, laboratory work, and maintain well-stocked clinical areas. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering culturally safe and patient-centred care across the NWHHS district. Working with us Base salary ranges between $68,471 and $77,832 p.a. (CA3); $62,622 and $67,300 p.a (CA2) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual. Requirements Certificate III in Dental Assisting mandatory for appointment to CA3 position. However, if a Certificate III in Dental Assisting has NOT been completed, then appointment will be at a CA2 classification. Employee's will have the opportunity to be placed into Dental Assistant Training position until successful completion of the qualification within 12 months of appointment. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
