The Senior Enterprise Portfolio Advisor is a senior strategic advisory role within the Enterprise Investment Management (EIM) team, reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Investment Management. The role is accountable for portfolio performance intelligence, enterprise investment advisory services and portfolio governance excellence across Coliban Water’s $180 million annual investment program. Leading the Portfolio Performance & Advisory function (up to five direct reports), you will shape how Coliban Water measures investment performance, prioritises competing investments, realises benefits and delivers long-term value. You will provide independent, evidence-based advice to the Executive Leadership Team, Board, Enterprise Investment Committee (EIC) and Investment Review Committee (IRC), supporting strategic decision-making and enterprise transformation. This role acts as the critical bridge between investment strategy and delivery performance, serving as Coliban Water’s centre of excellence for portfolio analytics, investment prioritisation and strategic portfolio advisory. Key Responsibilities: As our Senior Enterprise Portfolio Advisor, you’ll be accountable for: Lead and continuously improve Coliban Water’s enterprise portfolio performance and intelligence framework Provide strategic advice on portfolio performance, benefits realisation, value delivery, risk and investment optimisation Lead enterprise-wide investment prioritisation processes and governance in line with the Investment Evaluation Framework Build strong strategic partnerships with Portfolio Owners and senior leaders across the organisation Oversee development of portfolio dashboards, analytics, executive reporting and performance insights Lead benefits realisation governance and provide assurance on return on investment and value delivery Provide portfolio-level risk intelligence, performance assurance and health assessments Integrate portfolio performance insights into strategic planning, investment roadmaps and long-term planning cycles Lead, coach and develop a high-performing portfolio advisory and analytics team Champion evidence-based decision-making, portfolio discipline and continuous improvement across the enterprise About you: You are a trusted senior advisor with strong analytical capability and a proven ability to influence executive decision-making. You bring: Extensive experience leading portfolio management, investment advisory or strategic analytics functions Deep expertise in portfolio performance management, investment prioritisation and benefits realisation Strong strategic business partnering skills with executive and senior stakeholders Exceptional communication skills, translating complex insights into clear strategic advice Proven people leadership capability, developing high-performing analytical and advisory teams Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, water, infrastructure or government is highly regarded.
