The Role As they continue to grow, an outstanding opportunity has opened for a skilled and reliable Senior Operator to become a key part of this tight-knit, high-performing team. Working closely with the Cropping Manager and alongside dedicated permanent and casual staff, you'll be hands-on with the latest large-scale machinery, contributing across the full cropping calendar while helping maintain the operation's reputation for excellence. The ideal person will possess - Proven experience operating large-scale broadacre machinery, including seeders, road trains, spreaders, and loaders Skilled in specialist tasks such as windrowing, junior scraper and Reefinator operations, water truck, and fenceline weed control Competent relief operator for spraying, chaser bin, and Claas header during peak seasons Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, and equipment manufacturing Ability to perform routine maintenance on harvest and seeding gear, plus vehicle fleet repairs and team support If you're an experienced operator who thrives on variety, takes pride in your work, and wants to be part of a forward-thinking family operation that truly invests in its team, this could be the ideal next step in your career. The Offer The attractive package on offer includes a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 based on your experience and qualifications, a company dual cab Hilux, mobile phone and plan provided, uniforms and all safety equipment supplied, full training as required, meals during peak seasons (including dinner at harvest), availability of a quality 3 or 5 bedroom family housing in Maitland, SA, four weeks annual leave, and annual wage and performance reviews with support from leading HR consultants.
