This position is part of the Allambi People Support and Culture team, and is pivotal in providing front of house support to the youth worker population, in providing and implementing staff and placement rosters inline with the SCHADS award. This position will also liaise with operational departments who support the young people in Allambi's care. The suitable applicant will find it easy to develop and maintain staff relationships, and have excellent planning and organisation skills using the microsoft office suite, and Emplive Rostering software. Objective To provide and implement a high standard of rostering and scheduling services, a staff liaison to ensure the efficient and effective support to Allambi Care and Stakeholders. Primary duties and responsibilities; Implement, monitor and maintain day to day rostering requirements in accordance with the SCHADS Award and Allambi Care policies and procedures Liaise with People, Support and Culture (PS&C), PS&C Officers, Director and Executive Officer on staffing needs Provide recommendations to the PS&C Officers, Directors and Managers regarding leave Identify recruitment needs and staffing issues to People, Support and Culture Manager Document relevant performance feedback on staff to People, Support and Culture Department Address and manage overtime and absenteeism issues Liaise with Operations regarding changes or requirements relating to rostering, and participate in regular meetings to pre-plan rostering needs accordingly. Allocate staff resources effectively, in relation to teams, shift swaps, leave, training and workers compensation Utilise Rostering Software Program – EmpLive Website Utilise Microsoft office applications – word processing, spreadsheet, internet and emailing Develop rosters for Part Time and Casual Youth and Disability Support Workers Prepare notifications to staff regarding rostering matters Identify and apply opportunities for continuous improvement within rostering Develop effective working relationships with frontline staff. Perform data entry ensuring accuracy and conciseness Work both independently and as part of a team Communicate effectively and in a timely fashion to stakeholders via written, technological, oral and interpersonal avenues Prioritise, organise and complete set tasks given according to demanding time lines Possess knowledge of People, Support and Culture policies and principles Possess knowledge of Allambi Care policies and procedures Minimum Requirements 2 years knowledge and experience in rostering and/or administrative functions Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Teams and Excel) Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills and an ability prioritise work tasks Ability to work to a deadline Well-developed communication skills (written, verbal and listening) including high level telephone techniques in order to liaise effectively with staff and clients. Desirable Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or related discipline, or aspirations towards. Experience within a human resource environment Experience in scheduling or rostering with staff and client liaison.
