We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Lead to help shape, deliver, and support the technology that powers Officeworks Services, both online and in store. In this role, you’ll play a key part in IT strategy and architecture, lead service delivery across critical platforms, and work closely with business and technical teams to keep systems secure, reliable, and future-focused. You’ll also provide technical leadership, support innovation, and help guide the team through change from project delivery into BAU. This role is hybrid, with currently 3 days a week based at our Chadstone Support Office. What You’ll Be Doing Lead the design, deployment, and support of Officeworks Services infrastructure, applications and hardware Own service delivery for online and in-store technology, meeting SLAs and performance expectations Provide technical leadership across cloud platforms, integrations, and modern architectures Manage production changes and ensure safe, reliable releases Maintain a roadmap aligned to Officeworks strategic objectives Champion security, privacy, and disaster recovery practices Work closely with product, project, and delivery teams to transition initiatives into BAU Engage with third-party suppliers and industry partners to drive best practice Provide on call support (after hours and weekends) once every 5 weeks Key technologies you’ll work with include services websites, store hardware, print and create platforms, third-party integrations like PrintIQ and Canva, cloud hosting across AWS and Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices-based architecture. About you You’re a hands-on technical leader who enjoys balancing strategy with delivery. You’re comfortable working across teams, guiding others through change, and staying across emerging technologies.
