You will lead and support a collaborative development engineering team assessing subdivision proposals, subdivision works, and Roads Act applications. Provide referral advice to DA assessment officers, act as Council’s expert witness, contribute to policy review and strategic planning, and champion excellence in customer service and operational performance. You will have: • Proven leadership of high-performing engineering teams, preferably in a local government context. • Experience in infrastructure design, assessment and delivery, including NORBE modelling and WSUD. • Strong technical knowledge in subdivision design, land titling, infrastructure standards, and certification processes. • Sound knowledge of NSW EP&A, Local Government, and POEO Acts. • Ability to drive process improvement and deliver high-quality customer outcomes. • Excellent stakeholder management with internal teams, developers, consultants, contractors, and State agencies. • Capacity to provide expert evidence in the NSW Land and Environment Court. • Commitment to mentoring and staff development A motor vehicle is available with this position.
