Infrastructure Lead Location: Sydney (Hybrid Working Model) We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of our core infrastructure environment and lead a small, capable team of two engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical delivery with people management. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two infrastructure engineers Design, implement, and maintain on-prem and hybrid infrastructure solutions Ensure availability, performance, and security of core systems Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives Contribute to infrastructure strategy, standards, and continuous improvement Support and enhance operational technology (OT) environments where required Skills & Experience Proven experience in an infrastructure or senior infrastructure role Strong hands-on experience with: VMware (vSphere, ESXi, virtualization platforms) Cisco routers and switches FortiGate firewalls Experience leading or mentoring technical staff Solid understanding of networking, server, and security fundamentals Experience across Operational Technology (OT) environments is highly regarded Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills What We Offer Sydney-based role with a hybrid working model Opportunity to lead and shape a critical infrastructure function Collaborative team environment with real ownership and impact Competitive salary package aligned with experience
