Join our Payroll team in a Permanent Part-Time Payroll Support Officer role, working four days per week (Monday to Thursday), with flexibility for the right candidate. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end payroll function for our civil construction workforce, ensuring payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with compliance requirements. Key responsibilities: Manage employee timesheets and life cycle changes (onboarding, terminations, leave, role changes) Support weekly, month-end, and year-end payroll processing and reporting Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation Manage and deal with payroll queries as and when required Maintain data integrity within the system, ensuring it is accurate and up to date Assist Payroll Manager as required including back up support when Payroll Manager is away Assist with general payroll and administrative tasks, while identifying opportunities for process improvement Required competencies: 3 years’ experience in payroll Strong understanding of Awards, EBAs and payroll regulations Exceptional attention to detail A mature, proactive and team focused mindset Strong communication skills Reliable Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy Why Join Us?
