Female Disability Support Worker – Woolgoolga / Coffs Harbour We are seeking compassionate, patient and reliable FEMALE Disability Support Workers to provide one-on-one support to a 61-year-old woman living independently in a peaceful over-55s village in Woolgoolga (Coffs Harbour, NSW). Our client is navigating early-onset Parkinson’s disease and neuro-cognitive decline (currently undiagnosed), which impact her mobility, cognition, emotional wellbeing and daily independence. She values dignity, consistency and a gentle, reassuring approach to care. Shifts - A mix of weekday and weekend shifts may be available. 11:00am – 3:00pm 6:00pm – 11:00pm 11:00pm – 7:00am (inactive sleepover) The Role You will provide personalised, respectful support, including: Assistance with daily living tasks Mobility support and gentle prompting Emotional reassurance and companionship Supporting routines that promote independence and confidence Creating a calm, safe and supportive environment About You Female support worker (required for personal care and client comfort) Kind, patient and emotionally attuned Experience with Parkinson’s, dementia or cognitive decline highly regarded Able to work calmly and adaptively as needs change Reliable, professional and genuinely passionate about person-centred care Current NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check Valid First Aid and CPR NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (Quality Safety & You) Valid Drivers License and Comprehensive Car Insurance Pay Rates SCHADS E3.1 Casual Pay Rates (Before Tax) Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight, Mon–Fri): $38.67 Active Night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 If you’re a nurturing, dependable support worker who values dignity, empathy and meaningful connection, we would love to hear from you.
