What you will step into Lead investigations across infrastructure and land development projects Oversee drilling programs, test pits, sampling, logging and site interpretation Shape geotechnical models, recommendations and risk assessments Provide design inputs for footings, retaining structures, pavements, slopes and ground improvements Guide juniors with clear reviews, mentoring and technical direction Manage projects from scope to delivery with support, not bureaucracy Maintain strong relationships with existing clients — no heavy BD expectations Represent and strengthen the QLD capability with local knowledge and credibility Help shape resourcing, capability and future growth in Brisbane Work across a broad project mix: subdivisions, industrial, commercial, earthworks, pavements, slopes, remediation and more What this role represents A shift from being a technically strong senior to becoming the geotechnical anchor for a growing QLD team, with autonomy, support and long-term influence.
