We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to take ownership of end-to-end inventory control across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a standalone, senior role reporting into Finance, offering the opportunity to truly own and optimise the inventory function, drive continuous improvement, and add measurable commercial value to the business. About the Role As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimising stock levels, and implementing best-practice inventory control processes across warehouse, production, procurement, and 3PL operations. You will play a critical role in reducing working capital, improving stock turns, minimising obsolete and aged stock, and ensuring inventory integrity across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimise inventory levels across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP systems and robust control processes Lead cycle counts, stocktakes, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies Analyse inventory data to identify trends, risks, aged stock, and improvement opportunities Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business goals Partner closely with Procurement, Production, Planning, Finance, and Warehouse teams Drive cost reduction initiatives through improved stock turns and space optimisation Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and redundant inventory Coordinate RIRO (Run In Run Out) processes for packaging and raw material changes Optimise inventory across 3PL and VMI arrangements Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all inventory control activities About You You are a highly organised, analytical, and proactive inventory professional who thrives in a standalone role and enjoys working cross-functionally. You will bring: Proven experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or supply-chain environment Strong knowledge of inventory control, planning, warehousing, and supplier coordination Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software Advanced data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills A commercial mindset with a focus on cost reduction and operational efficiency Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Inventory or a related discipline Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills High levels of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail Why Join?
