About The Role We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our Banking & Finance team. In this role, you will provide a high level of support to our partner, lawyers, and clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who is looking for an opportunity to add value to a close-knit team. This is a full-time role for someone who is looking to develop their career as a Paralegal. This role offers plenty of variety, with the key responsibilities and duties being: Working with Partners and fee earners on the day-to-day operations of files and client management; Matter management, including opening, closing and tracking of matters; Drafting, editing and lodging legal correspondence and documentation; Devising systems to support matter management and client services; Other general administrative and paralegal duties. A strong work ethic and keen interest in Banking and Finance will see you succeed in this position. To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will have the following: Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably within Banking and Finance; Strong well-rounded technical knowledge and experience in Banking and Finance law (including mortgage and PPS registration) will be highly regarded; A high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels; A proactive approach, enthusiasm to work independently and excellent organisational skills; The ability to produce accurate, high quality work with excellent attention to detail; Strong computer skills, and highly competent in the Microsoft Office Suite and relevant legal software programs (experience with PEXA, iManage/Filesite and Aderant Expert is highly regarded).
