Senior Technical Business Analyst Location: Sydney Type: 2 year FTC| Full-time Salary: $150k - $170k super bonus based on relevant experience We're looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a large transformation program. What You'll Do Act as a key bridge between stakeholders, engineers, and delivery teams Elicit, analyse, and document complex business and technical requirements Work hands-on with application teams, getting into the detail of system behaviour, integrations, and data flows Support solution design, collaborating with architects and developers to shape robust, scalable solutions Analyse data and perform data extraction using SQL to support requirements, analysis, and decision-making Review and understand code where needed to validate feasibility and impact Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications Support delivery through the full lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation What You'll Bring Strong background in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline Proven experience within banking technology programs Proven experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst in complex technology environments Ability to read and understand code (as a Tech BA) Experience with solution design or close collaboration with solution architects (highly desirable) Solid hands-on experience with data extraction and SQL Deep understanding of applications, APIs, and system integrations Comfortable working at a detailed, technical level while still communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders Strong documentation, analysis, and stakeholder management skills Candidates must be based in Sydney with full work rights - Citizen or PR .
