Associate Scrum Master - Contractor Contract: 12-month contract with strong extension potential Location: Clayton, Vic 3800 About the Role We are seeking an Associate Scrum Master to support high-performing delivery squads in achieving their goals through Agile ways of working. Partnering closely with Product Owners and Product Managers, you will act as a servant leader , coaching teams in Scrum and Kanban, embedding Agile principles, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and embed squad-level Ways of Working aligned to broader program standards Ensure adherence to Agile practices across all delivery stages Schedule and run all squad ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives) Capture, track, and follow up on squad actions and outcomes Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog (minimum two sprints ahead) Ensure work is well-defined and accurately represented in Jira Create, manage, and complete sprints while tracking progress against sprint goals Build and maintain Agile metrics, sprint dashboards, and burndown charts in Jira Support release planning and coordination across squads and dependencies Skills & Experience Strong experience with Jira and Confluence Hands-on use of collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom Proficiency with Google Workspace Experience using workshopping tools such as Miro or Lucidchart (desirable) Certifications & Qualifications Working towards or holding Scrum Master and/or Kanban certification Equivalent relevant experience and/or formal training considered Key Capabilities Proven ability to drive accountability and delivery outcomes in Agile environments Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills Excellent problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-focused mindset Confident facilitator with strong presentation and communication skills Experience supporting small-to-medium initiatives through to delivery If you wish to apply for this position, please submit your resume by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
