Description About the Role We are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Development Manager to lead and accelerate sales growth in the Perth region. As our Sales Development Manager at Protecta, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and driving overall sales performance. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will spend most of your time on the road, regularly engaging with clients, uncovering growth opportunities, and playing a key part in expanding our business. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, and qualify new leads, and follow up on new business opportunities. Conduct face-to-face client meetings, product demonstrations, sales presentations, and onsite scoping with customers, ensuring regular visits to customer sites. Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies to drive business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster long-term partnerships. Grow and reignite business from existing accounts, optimising contact management for maximum results. Maintain accurate records in the CRM systems (Numerik & NetSuite), including leads, activities, quotes, and contacts, and provide reports to track sales performance. Represent the Protecta brand professionally in the field. Meet and exceed sales targets/KPIs Skills And Experiences What We’re Looking For Experience in sales, business development, or account management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in CRM software (Numerik & NetSuite experience highly regarded). A self-motivated and results-driven mindset. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively to client sites.
