Warehouse Coordinator (Storeman / Relief Manager) Location: Adelaide Hills, SA (Local residency highly preferred) Type: Full-Time / Permanent Role Overview We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and organized Storeman to join our team in the Adelaide Hills. This is a unique role designed for a "hands-on" professional who is comfortable managing the day-to-day warehouse operations but possesses the leadership skills to step up and manage the facility during management absences. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Logistics (Primary) Inventory Control: Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch orders with high attention to detail. Inwards Goods: Receive deliveries, check for damages, and reconcile packing slips against purchase orders. Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counting and organized shelving. Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse remains a clean, safe, and OHS-compliant environment. Machinery: Safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Leadership & Relief Management (As Required) Team Supervision: Oversee warehouse workflows and staff during management leave or peak periods. Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for freight issues, customer inquiries, or delivery discrepancies. Reporting: Maintain basic digital records and provide end-of-day updates to the executive team. Compliance: Ensure all site safety protocols and opening/closing procedures are strictly followed. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a warehouse or logistics environment. Leadership Potential: Proven ability to take initiative or previous experience in a supervisory/team lead role. Licensing: Current High-Risk Forklift License (LF) and a valid Driver’s License are essential. Tech Savvy: Ability to use inventory management software and basic Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook). Local Knowledge: You must reside in the Adelaide Hills region to ensure reliable site access and local area knowledge.
