ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Estimator to join a forward-thinking civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. Core Responsibilities Prepare, assess, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations with precision and commercial insight Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for permanent works Forecast labour, plant, and material requirements in line with project programs and engineering standards Ensure all resource estimates align with tender schedules and key milestones Compile, review, and submit professional tender submissions that meet client and contract requirements Analyse contract terms for compliance, identifying and addressing potential risks Prepare and deliver comprehensive handover documentation to ensure smooth project execution Collaborate with project delivery teams to capture productivity data and enhance future estimating accuracy What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 5–7 years of proven experience in estimating and tendering within the civil construction sector Demonstrated success in pricing and securing large-scale infrastructure projects Proficiency with estimation software (Candy CCS or similar preferred) Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, engineering processes, and project feasibility assessment Ability to evaluate site conditions using survey data and on-site inspections Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior estimators highly regarded What’s on Offer Flexible base location: NSW, VIC, or QLD Attractive salary package: $130K–$150K (negotiable based on experience) Permanent, full-time position offering long-term stability and career progression Opportunity to work on high-value, nationally significant civil infrastructure projects Supportive and collaborative work environment focused on innovation, learning, and professional growth APPLY NOW if interested or email marnel.labarosa@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
