The Role An opportunity has become available for a Senior Clinical Applications Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. What You'll Do Lead and inspire a team to deliver on the Clinical Informatics roadmap Champion change management and process improvement initiatives Build strong relationships with clinicians, stakeholders, and vendors Oversee governance for application support, incident/problem management, and release processes Drive innovation and ensure best-practice ICT design and delivery What We're Looking For While not mandatory, a relevant Health Information Management or Information Technology qualification would be well regarded The ability to participate in on-call arrangements and out of standard working hours is a requirement for this position (appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply) A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills Proven experience in change management and process governance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Have the ability to lead, mentor, and develop others Experience in ICT service delivery within a healthcare or complex environment Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Why Join Us?
