Keep children safe. Help educators thrive. At Guardian, everything begins with one purpose: keeping children safe and ensuring they thrive. We’re known for unwavering quality, innovation, and care — and we’re looking for a Curriculum Mentor to elevate pedagogy and practice across our Sydney network. The opportunity You’ll join our Quality & Curriculum team to inspire, mentor, and lead centre teams. You’ll partner closely with Network leaders to progress centre priorities in a strategic, planned and purposeful way, and you’ll play a visible role advocating Guardian initiatives across the state. What you’ll do: · Mentor and uplift practice: Coach Educational Leaders and Centre Leadership Teams through in-centre visits, role modelling, and practical strategies that build capability and retention. · Drive quality improvement: Deliver tools, resources, and professional learning that strengthen pedagogical practice and empower centres to own their improvement journey. · Lead key initiatives: Be a visible advocate for Guardian curriculum initiatives across meetings and platforms, building awareness and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. · Collaborate statewide: Work across multiple, complex sites to align centre priorities with broader Guardian projects and outcomes. What you’ll bring: · Degree in Early Childhood Education and 5 years’ sector experience, ideally in leadership or mentoring. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has spent some years working in room directly as a Teacher within the sector. · Deep knowledge of the National Quality Framework and a passion for evidence-informed pedagogy. · Proven ability to mentor, coach, inspire and build strong relationships — engaging, influencing and partnering across diverse stakeholders. · Strength in prioritising, organising and problem solving to design practical strategies that lift outcomes for children and teams. · Confident written and verbal communication, with a knack for developing content, support tools and resources.
