Ayra Kabir Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Time Cook to join our team in Widgee, QLD. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences - Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner - Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment - Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations - Train and supervise kitchen staff, as needed - Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials - Adhere to portion control and cost management guidelines - Handle and store food products properly - Assist with inventory and stock management - Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - 12 months of work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen - Certificate 3 in commercial cookery or equivalent - Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings - Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time - Must have a valid work permit for Australia We offer a competitive salary of $65000 to $78000 plus superannuation, based on experience and qualifications.
