In this role, you will provide expert professional advice, representation, consultancy and dispute resolution services to clients to facilitate business outcomes in relation to discipline and grievance issues. You will also manage complex employee discipline, criminal convictions and history, performance management and employee complaints matters as required. Step Into Your Next Chapter Provide high level advice and consultancy services to executive, senior managers and clients on workplace performance, conduct and discipline matters including legislation, policies, systems and practices. Prepare disciplinary ‘show cause' notices and correspondence, prepare briefing materials and reports for the Minister, Director-General and other senior staff on issues related to employee relations matters. Provide support to departmental officers appearing as advocates for the department in Queensland Industrial Relations Commission proceedings and as departmental representative in disciplinary and fair treatment appeals before the Office of the Public Service Commissioner as well as other tribunals. Participate and contribute to project teams and assist other staff in the development, implementation, review and reporting of initiatives, programs, policies and targeted plans which relate to workforce employee relations. Participate and contribute to the development and evaluation of policy and administrative procedures incorporating innovative solutions to complex employment issues.
