The Opportunity: Senior Contract Administrator You are a commercially astute Senior Contract Administrator with a proactive and inquisitive approach to upstream commercial management. This upstream-focused role is pivotal in managing client-side contractual obligations, risks and variations, ensuring compliance with the PPP framework. You will oversee the end-to-end management of upstream contracts, lead commercial discussions with government partners, and ensure all deliverables align with complex contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage upstream contractual interfaces with government stakeholders in accordance with PPP frameworks and performance-based agreements. Oversee compliance with key contract milestones, KPIs, and delivery requirements as per the Contract Management Plan. Identify and manage contractual risks, disputes, and claims in collaboration with the legal and project delivery teams. Provide expert commercial and contractual advice to project leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong working relationships with public sector partners and internal delivery teams to ensure contractual alignment. Support project reporting and forecasting in coordination with the broader commercial and finance functions. What We’re Looking For: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Law, Commerce or a related technical field (postgraduate qualifications in commercial or legal disciplines desirable). 5-8 years’ experience in contract or commercial roles on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably rail or transport. Demonstrated expertise in managing upstream contracts within a PPP environment - PPP experience is essential. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex commercial issues. High level of commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
