Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for NV1 security cleared Systems Engineer Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see you manage systems engineering risks within an air battle management project within a wider air defence program. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, you will to identify systems engineering risks and quantify, manage and implement mitigation actions to address risk management across the multi-disciplined program. What will I be doing day to day? Coordinate and develop project requirements and support the organizational capability development change management Assist the Program Safety Advisor in the development and maintenance of the Safety Case and Safety Reporting documentation in accordance with the System Safety Program Plan Coordinate Commonwealth involvement in Industry-led verification and validation of system requirements Lead and provide oversight for the development and maintenance of project engineering artefacts and technical certification or specifications and plans Lead a small team of engineers to deliver solutions to ever evolving systems engineering requirements What sort of skills do I need? Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering field or related technical discipline Must have minimum 10 years post graduate engineering experience Previous experience within the ADF Capability Life Cycle Strong communication skills and detailed process orientated approach Australian citizenship, NV1 clearance and ITAR compliance What’s in it for me?
