Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Network Engineer to work on NBN network projects , including design, implementation, testing, and ongoing optimisation of telecommunications networks. The role requires strong technical capability across NBN access technologies and IP-based network systems. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain NBN access networks including FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, HFC, and Fixed Wireless . Plan and implement NBN network installations, upgrades, and remediation works. Configure and support IP networks, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs. Monitor network performance, capacity, and service availability across NBN environments. Diagnose and resolve complex NBN-related faults, service disruptions, and performance issues. Ensure compliance with NBN Co standards, safety requirements, and industry regulations . Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and installation reports. Liaise with NBN Co, service providers, vendors, and internal project teams . Provide technical guidance to field technicians and junior engineers. Key Requirements Qualification in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field . Minimum 1 years of relevant experience , preferably with NBN network projects . Strong understanding of NBN architectures and access technologies Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing & switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, and IP-based networks . Experience with fault management, service activation, and network optimisation in NBN environments. Ability to interpret technical drawings, network designs, and NBN specifications.
