Role Overview: As a Stonemason at Gitani Stone, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw stone into stunning architectural and design elements. You will work with a talented team of craftsmen, using traditional and modern techniques to shape, cut, and polish stone to meet our clients' specifications. Your attention to detail, precision, and passion for stonework will be instrumental in creating timeless masterpieces. Responsibilities: Fabricate, shape, and cut natural stone using various tools and machinery. Polish and finish stone surfaces to achieve a high-quality, refined appearance. Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution. Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines and requirements. Install stone elements on-site, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment. Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment. Requirements: Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a Stonemason or similar role in the stone fabrication industry Proficient in working with natural stone, including granite, marble, quartz, and other materials. Sound knowledge of stone fabrication techniques, such as cutting, shaping, and polishing. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications. Skilled in using stonemasonry tools, including saws, grinders, and polishing machines. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy stone slabs and work in various positions. Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
